October 25 2022, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the first group of newly appointed judges, “International legal cooperation in civil area” with trainer Mr. Zenel Leku judge in the Supreme Court.
This training session is covering the following: the procedure for international legal cooperation in the civil field for requests originating from Kosovo, the procedure for international legal cooperation in the civil field, for requests originating from foreign countries and addressed to Kosovo, Jurisdiction on the basis of the Contested Procedure Law (CPL), Jurisdiction according to the Arbitration Law, The Hague Conference on International Private Law (IPL), the European Union - legal regulations in the field of European civil procedure and the Minsk Convention.
Training methodology is interactive discussions and practical cases.
Beneficiaries of this training are 29 newly appointed judges including two judges of the Serbian community.
