On 09 December 2016, Kosovo Judicial Institute, after the decree of the state prosecutors and KPC request, officially commenced the Initial Training Program marking as such the first meeting with the newly appointed prosecutors.
In his opening speech KJI Acting Director Mr. Besim Morina, initially greeted the newly appointed prosecutors, wishing them success in their new work, highlighting the role and importance of the initial training toward their further professional preparation. Furthermore, Mr. Morina, briefly elaborated ITP structure, organization and its implementation, including theoretical and practical part of it. Mr. Morina expressed his and KJI’s willingness to constantly support newly appointed prosecutors, with the purpose of better implementation of the Initial Training Program.
Whereas, the Head of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Blerim Isufaj expressed the support of KPC toward newly appointed prosecutors encouraging them to show their commitment and maximum engagement during the initial training, e also stressed out the importance of this training on the adequate preparation of these prosecutors in exercising properly and professionally the function of the prosecutor. Mr. Isufaj provided his support to KJI, in terms of efficient and effective implementation of the initial training for newly appointed prosecutors.
The newly appointed prosecutors, have been equipped with materials relevant to ITP such as: Regulation of the Initial Training Program, Initial Training Program and Training Calendar for December 2016.
