On December 15th 2016, Kosovo Judicial Institute within its Continuous Training Program (CTP) conducted training on Judicial Integrity as a Prerequisite for Gaining Public Trust.
Training aimed to extend knowledge about professional ethical conduct of judges and prosecutors in their work and in daily lives, in the path of raising public trust in judicial institutions.
Training mainly focused on elaborating applicable ethical norms and other norms of conduct, importance of professionalism, integrity and moral dignity, principle of independence and impartiality, as well as other factors that impact on infringement of these principles.
Also, this training treated the unprofessional professional and personal conduct, which fade away the public trust like the following: conflict of interest, internal and external impacts, and non-judicial activities with particular emphasis on financial independence.
Beneficiaries of this training were prosecutors of the basic instance and legal officers from different regions of Kosovo.
