On December 6, 2022, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed judges of the ninth generation for the second group, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "The State Prosecutor, the injured party and the defendant as a party in the criminal procedure ", with the trainer engaged Mr. Besim Kelmendi, U.d. Chief State Prosecutor.
In the framework of the first training session, the following are being addressed: overview - State Prosecutor, the role of the prosecutor in the initiation of criminal proceedings, cooperation and relations with the public, the exclusion of state prosecutors, the structure and competence of the state prosecutor, the role of the state prosecutor after receiving the criminal report, taking of evidence by the prosecutor during the investigation, the role of the state prosecutor in relation to the arrest, detention and other measures for securing the defendant during the investigation phase, the role of the state prosecutor in filing of the indictment, the role of the state prosecutor, the temporary seizure of assets, the restraining order, the temporary security measure, the temporary confiscation, the role of the state prosecutor during the judicial review, the role of the state prosecutor in the stage of presenting legal remedies and the role of the prosecutor in other procedures.
The training methodology is being implemented with practical cases as well as with the interactive method.
Beneficiaries of the training are 18 newly appointed judges.
