Sub-module: Expertise and analysis, second session: The expert and his procedural position in criminal proceedings

On December 13, 2022, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the ninth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the "Expertise and analysis" module, with the trainer engaged Mr. Armend Halimi, prosecutor at the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina.

In the framework of this session, the following are being addressed: the meaning of expert, the difference between an expert, a witness and a professional, the ability of a person to be an expert in criminal proceedings, the reasons for the exclusion of an expert in criminal proceedings and the obligations, rights and responsibilities of the expert in criminal procedure.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 6 newly appointed prosecutors 2022/20223.
