Training program for judges and prosecutors in the initial training in non-judicial institutions - Information and Privacy Agency

On February 2, 2023, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, respectively the training in non-judicial institutions for newly appointed judges and prosecutors, organized a training/ visit in the Information and Privacy Agency, the trainer in this visit was Mr. Valon Kryeziu, Director of this Agency.

The purpose of this training was to inform the newly appointed judges and prosecutors about the activities and legal structure of the operation performed by this institution. Judges and prosecutors had the opportunity to be informed about the legal framework for protection of privacy and discrete information as well as the duties, responsibilities and forms of personal data processing. The focus was on handling the challenges of this institution, which is tasked with protection of the state data, thus facing various requests such as that of the local government for access, and having the opportunity to change, destroy and delete personal data.

During the training, the conversation method was implemented where the participants, together with the trainer from the Information and Privacy Agency, discussed topics of common interest, which were related to their work in the future.

Beneficiaries of the training are the newly appointed judges and prosecutors of the ninth generation, where one of them is from the Bosnian community.
