On 17-18 October 2017, the Academy of Justice with the support of UNDP will conduct a roundtable discussion with judges of the Appeal Court.
During this roundtable, judges of the Appeal Court will present findings of the case law emerged as a result of research of causes of return of civil cases of the Basic Court to retrial. Later on, working groups will provide their recommendations about the identified issues regarding this matter.
As a result of this roundtable and research work of judges, during this year will be finalized a summary followed by the case law and comments of cases with the purpose of reducing the backlog of cases returned to retrial.
