Position of the Minor Offence Judges in the New Structure of the Judiciary

On 16 January 2013, KJI conducted a training on “Position of the Minor Offence Judges in the New Structure of the Judiciary”
The purpose of this training was to provide knowledge to the participants regarding the role and position of the minor offence judges in the new structure of the judiciary as provided by the Law on Courts.
During this training were discussed topics related to the changes made in the system according to which the Minor Offence Court falls within the general department of the basic courts as a minor offence division. In this occasion were also discussed the procedures developed by the minor offence division and the challenges faced by judges working with the new structure.

Beneficiaries of this training were judges of the Minor Offence Court from all regions of Kosovo.
