The defendant in the criminal procedure

On February 7 2019, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges (generation VI) is conducting training from the module of “Criminal procedure Code”, the sub-module “The defendant in criminal proceeding”.

Topics to be covered in this training are outlined below: a) defendant in the criminal proceeding; b) differences between the defendant and the suspect; c) cases when the procedure can be conducted with the defendant in the proceeding; d) examining the defendant; e) the defendant’s absence in the hearing and legal consequences, etc.
