On 21 January 2010, a civil law seminar under the topic of “Property Relations of Spouses” was conducted. The subjects presented in the course of the aforementioned seminar focused on the most relevant legal institution of separate and common property of spouses. A special attention was paid to the issues, such as marital communion as a condition to earn and accumulate joint property, its legal nature, administration and possession of separate and common wealth, court jurisdiction, division of the common shares, and the means of the division of spouses’ joint property. The purpose of this training was building of professional skills of judges trying civil law cases and harmonization of attitudes regarding the property relations of spouses by considering complex disputes from the court practice. The beneficiaries of the respective training were civil law judges from all regions of Kosovo.
