The Kosovo Judicial Institute, with purpose of noting the anniversary of the Law Day of Kosovo Republic, on 15 February 2010, organized a various activities in order to note its importance for the judicial system in Kosovo. On this occasion, the second generation of future candidates for judges and prosecutors of Initial Program for Legal Education, held a simulation of a trial which was organized and implemented by Kosovo Judicial Institute. On this occasion the future candidates of ILEP conducted a simulation using a murder case, where the trial was held at the premised of Kosovo Judicial Institute.
The purpose of this training was to familiarize the future candidates for judges and prosecutors with the advanced judicial techniques and to implement them practically during the trial. By this simulation the future candidates presented their knowledge and skills gained through the training modules lectured by local and international experts during the Initial Legal Education Program. Amongst the other, the Director of KJI Mr. Lavdim Krasniqi, was present and active during the debate organized in honoring the Law Day, at the premises of Youth Palate, furthermore, Mr. Krasniqi presented and discussed about Legal Education for judges, prosecutors and future candidates for judges and prosecutors of Kosovo.
During the debate Mr. Krasniqi emphasized the role and contribution delivered by Kosovo Judicial Institute concerning the continuous legal education, especially for the professional preparation of future candidates for judges and prosecutors, which is of a grate importance for the reformation period of the judicial and prosecutorial system of Kosovo. During this ceremony, the Kosovo Judicial Institute also offered various publications such as brochures, training modules, programs, bulletins reports, etc. This is the first time that Kosovo Judicial Institute gave its contribution in honoring the Law Day of Kosovo.
