On 11 February 2010, the fourth meeting of the Ministerial Council, during which the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo and representatives of other institutions were also present, took place. In the course of, among other issues, were treated the strategic priorities for 2010 and recommendations drawn out of the dialogue on Stabilization Association Process for Justice, Liberty and Security.
A special attention during this meeting was paid to the commitment of the Republicof Kosovo fulfilling the obligations set forth in the agenda for European Integration and the Strategic Priorities for 2010, submitted by the Kosovo Government. The priorities set forth in this plan were drawn out after a detailed analysis of the Progress Report for 2009. Therefore, each priority is linked to the concrete actions and it will be incorporated in upon the review of the Action Plan for European Partnership, Working Plan of the Government and Ministerial Plan for 2010. Moreover, a number of urgent priorities that require immediate attention from the Kosovo Institutions were identified.
In addition to, the representatives of Kosovo institutions, among which was also the KJI, discussed and reported their priorities and steps they intend to take for the capacity building and strengthening local institutions towards the European Integration.
