On 26-27 January 2009 the Kosovo Judicial Institute in cooperation with Norway Embassy organized a two days training with the topic, “Criminal Alternative Sanctions to imprisonment” The topics that were elaborated during this training were focused on issues related to the improvement of juvenile justice, the crime level faced by the juveniles, as well as the role of judge and prosecutor on implementing the alternative measures with the special emphasis on mediation issues.
Beneficial of this training: were judges and prosecutors of all regions of Kosovo and probation service officers from Prishtina region.
