On 10-11 March 2009, Kosovo Judicial Institute in close cooperation with the U.S Department of Justice conducted the two day training course under the topic: “Trafficking of Narcotics Phenomena”. The purpose of this training event was to provide the participants with a clear overview concerning the relationship between the prosecutors’ police and undercover agents, including different investigative techniques, as the use of confidential informants, cooperative witnesses, evidence resulting from the telephone interception, controlled delivery etc. In addition to, was debated about the interviewing skills, report writing, identification of relevant elements relating the trafficking of narcotics criminal offences and establishment of a strategic trial.
The beneficiaries of the respective training were: judges, prosecutors and judicial police from all regions of Kosovo.
