On 21 April 2008, the Kosovo Judicial Institute conducted the roundtable discussion under the topic: “Covert and Technical Measures of Surveillance and Investigation”. The subjects that were treated during the aforementioned training focused on the issues related to the covert and technical measures ordered by the public prosecutor and the ones ordered by the pre-trial judge. On the same occasion were also discussed the procedural aspect regarding the relationship between the public prosecutor and the pre-trial judge as well as their role in applying respective measures. The purpose of this training was to provide a proper understanding in applying technical measures as the preventive steps against the crime and the unification of the respective practice in all regions of Kosovo.
The beneficiaries of the respective training were: judges and prosecutors from all regions of Kosovo.
