Study Visit to the Justice Academy in Nordrhine Westfalen in Recklinghausen of the Republic of Germany 

In the framework of continuous cooperation with the Twinning Program (Twinning Project) EU-LER, a delegation of KJI from July 10 to July 14 conducted a study visit to the Academy of Justice in Nordrhine Westfalen in Recklinghausen, Germany. 

The purpose of this visit was to make institutional contacts, create and strengthen the cooperation and exchange of experiences between the Justice Academy of Nordrhine Westfalen and the Kosovo Judicial Institute in the field of judicial training. 
The delegation was received by the highest executives of the academy as well as other representatives who presented the history, organizational structure, training programs, methodology and approach of these programs, conducting training through e-learning platform or distance learning, and administrative and financial issues as well as the regional and international cooperation with similar institutions of the Academy. 

As a result of this visit representatives of the two institutions pledged to increase the cooperation in the future by signing a memorandum of cooperation in order to exchange experiences between the two institutions in the field of legal education of judges and prosecutors, candidates for judges and prosecutors and for other professionals in the judiciary.
