On February 28, 2013, KJI held a seminar on the topic: “The importance of the amendments to the Law of Contested Procedure”. The main purpose of this workshop was to introduce the general novelties of the Law on Contested Procedure that entered into force last year on 01.11.2012.
During this workshop were addressed issues related to: general novelties in the Law on Contested Procedure, novelties on regular legal remedies and extraordinary legal remedies, as well as the difficulties faced by judges in the application of these new legal provisions in practice.
This training was followed by a very useful interactive debate where experts offered explanations regarding the correct implementation of the legal provisions related to the abovementioned issues.
The beneficiaries of this training were presidents of basic courts, judges from the general Department - Civil Division of the Court of Appeal and general departments of Basic Courts.
