On 15 October 2012, KJI in cooperation with UNDP within the Training Program for Promotion implemented the module “Minor Offence Procedure”.
As a result of this training the participants will be able to:
• Distinguish the main phases of the minor offence procedure;
• Implement actions prescribed by the law in the minor offence procedure;
• Apply the minor offence procedure according to the Law on Minor Offence and specific laws which prescribes the minor offences.
During this training were elaborated the legal basis and development of the minor offence proceedings, suspension and termination of the procedure, measures for insuring the presence of the defendant and witnesses, interrogation of the defendant and the witnesses, site inspection, temporary sequestration of the items, drifting and delivering of the ruling and legal remedies.
Beneficiaries of this training were just appointed judges of Minor Offence Court from all regions of Kosovo.
