June 24-25 2020, Academy of Justice within its Continuous Training Program is conducting the Specialized training on Cybercrime and electronic evidence – Session I that was delivered through the online platform Zoom.
Trainers engages in this training are Mrs. Laura Pula, Prosecutors in the State Chief Prosecutors Office and Mr. Fadil Abdyli, Head of the Cybercrime Investigation Sector in the Kosovo Police.
Purpose of this training was to extend the professional knowledge of judges, prosecutors and other beneficiaries on the way and proving implication of the cybercrime issues and of search, sequestration and confiscation of proceeds of online crime, as well as legal available tools and approach to international cooperation.
Focus of this training is on electronic evidence and proceeds of online crimes that are complex.
This training is elaborating on the following: Introduction to cybercrime – trends and remedies; Obtain knowledge on cybercrime and electronic evidence; Implement financial investigation of the profit acquired from cybercrime; Obtain knowledge on substantial and procedural laws, as well as technologies that they can apply; Assess how soon they can undertake and what is efficiency of the measures and extensive international cooperation.
The training methodology is combined with theoretical presentation and interactive discussions. Beneficiaries of this training are judges and prosecutors of the Appeals and the Basic instance.
