On September 22-23, 2020, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program is conducting training through the Zoom platform on: "Specialized Training Program - Public Procurement in Kosovo - Session II".
Trainers engaged in this training are: Mr. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren and Mr. Agim Sheqiri, public procurement expert.
The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants about the implementation of the contract, investigation and adjudication of criminal offenses of this nature.
The training will focus on the contract implementation phase, corruption schemes and fraud-related problems, investigation planning and prosecution:
During this training are being elaborated: Indicative corruption risks in the procurement phases, needs assessment / definition of requirements, preparation / design process and preparation of bidding documents, selection of the contractor and award phase, contract implementation phase, payment of ransom, conflict of interest, bidding schemes, conspiracy bidding, fraudulent schemes, content of investigation plan, identification of the information sources, planning of house search and interception, as well as planning of use of information.
The methodology applied is of a combined nature, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.
Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges of basic courts from all regions, prosecutors of basic prosecutions and professional cooperation officials.
