On March 2, 2013, KJI in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Prishtina, Justice Department OPDAT, conducted the next training session on the topic “Novelties of the Code of Criminal Procedure”.
The training focused on general principles and powers of the courts, the initiation of investigations and criminal proceedings by indictment, the indictment and its review, and judicial review and the legal remedies. All these topics were addressed in the context of changes, additions and their comparison with the preceding provisions.
The beneficiaries of this training were 87 participants such as judges, prosecutors, lawyers and police officers from the region of Gjilan and Ferizaj.
