Sub-module on Reasoning of court decisions – third session; Topic: interpretation and legal reasoning

On May 27, 2021, Academy of Justice within its Initial Training Program for the eighth generation of the newly appointed judges is conducting the theoretical training from the Sub-module on Reasoning of court decisions – civil area, with trainer Mr. Albert Zogaj, judge of the Supreme Court.

This topic from the sub-module on Reasoning of court decisions, is covering the following aspects: Interpretation as an important component for legal writing and reasoning; types of interpretation; methods of interpretation; analogy and legal reasoning.

Training methodology is applying practical cases through exercises and examples which elaborate on forms of court writs and reasoning of decisions. The training is being held with physical presence at the Academy adhering to all preventive measures from Covid-19. Beneficiaries of this training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of them are of the Serbian community.
