On May 28, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the module "ECHR" with trainer Mr. Zyhdi Haziri, judge at the Court of Appeals.
In the framework of the first training session from this sub-module, the following topics are being addressed: The achievements of the Council of Europe, the institutions of the Council of Europe, the European Convention on Human Rights and monitoring of the implementation of the European Court decision.
The training methodology applied during the training consists of practical cases as well as interactive discussions. The training is being carried out physically at the Academy taking into account all preventive measures against the COVID-19 virus. Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
