Prishtina, 05 August 2021, the Academy of Justice under the leadership of the Executive Director Mr. Enver Fejzullahu held a preparatory meeting with donors and partners who support AJ in the implementation of training programs.
This meeting aims at informing the partners of the Academy of Justice about the establishment of a regular and structured coordination mechanism in order to exchange information, coordinate and avoid duplication of activities and resources.
Mr. Enver Fejzullahu, Executive Director of the Academy of Justice, informed the participants about the training activities that are taking place and expressed his gratitude for all the support that the Academy of Justice has received from donors, emphasizing at the same time the further cooperation in building professional capacities of judges and prosecutors and the administrative staff of courts and prosecutors' offices.
Also, in during this meeting were revealed the needs for expert support in areas such as: corruption, organized crime, money laundering and terrorist financing, confiscation of property, war crimes, case management and domestic violence. In addition, it is necessary to provide support in terms of infrastructure and information technology for the new building of the Academy.
Donors, on the other hand, expressed their readiness to offer support to the Academy of Justice in achieving its objectives.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Enver Fejzullahu once again acknowledged the support of US Embassy, USAID, UNDP, UK Embassy, GIZ, IRZ, CoE, EU, and other relevant condors for their contribution and continuous support to the Academy of Justice.
