Sub-module - Criminal Code - Special part, second session, topic - "Criminal offenses against freedoms and human rights"

On September 21, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the module "Criminal Code - special part" with trainer Mr. Besim Kelmendi, Prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.

Within the second training session from this sub-module, the topics that are being addressed are as follows: coercion, illegal deprivation of liberty, taking statements by coercion, ill-treatment in the exercise of official duty or public authority, Violation of the inviolability of homes and buildings and unlawful control.

The training methodology applied consists of practical cases as well as interactive discussion. The training is being carried out in a combined way, in person at the Academy of Justice, implementing all measures against the COVID-19 virus and online through the ‘ZOOM’ platform in real time.

Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
