On October 14, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the module "Covert measures of investigation and surveillance" with trainer Mr. Avni Mehmeti, Judge at the Basic Court in Mitrovica.
Within the first session, the following topics are being addressed: Types of covert technical measures of surveillance and investigation and their meaning, covert photographic or video surveillance, covert monitoring of conversations, controlled postal deliveries, interception of communications through computer network, use of location tracking tools, simulated purchase of items and covert investigation and disclosure of financial data.
The training methodology consists of practical cases and interactive discussions. The training has been held in person at the Academy of Justice by implementing all measures against the COVID-19 virus.
Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
