Sub-module - Covert technical measures of investigation and surveillance, third session, topic - "Procedure related to covert technical measures of investigation and surveillance"

On October 15, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for the newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the module "Code of Criminal Procedure - Covert measures of investigation and surveillance" with trainer Mr. Avni Mehmeti, Judge at the Basic Court in Mitrovica.

In this session the following topics are being addressed: Procedure for issuing covert investigative measures, role and responsibilities of the prosecution and courts in these covert investigative measures and monitoring in practice of covert measures as well as legal consequences in case of non-compliance with legal proceedings.

The training methodology applied consists of practical cases as well as interactive discussions. The training is being carried out in a combined way, in person at the Academy of Justice, implementing all measures against the COVID-19 virus and online through the platform 'ZOOM' in real time.

Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
