On October 26, 2021, in the framework of the initial training program for newly appointed judges of the eighth generation (8), theoretical training is being conducted under the module "Procedure involving perpetrators with mental disorders" with trainer Mr. Avni Mehmeti, Judge at the Basic Court in Mitrovica.
Within the module: Code of Criminal Procedure, the second training session is being held under the module "Procedure involving perpetrators with mental disorders" from which are being treated the topics: Psychiatric examination by an expert in criminal procedure, observation in the health institution, examination order and the competent institution for psychiatric examination.
The training methodology is being applied consist of practical cases and interactive discussions. The training is being carried out in combination, such as in person at the Academy of Justice, thus implementing all preventive measures against the COVID-19 virus and online through the platform "ZOOM".
Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
