On November 18, 2021, within the initial training program for newly appointed judges eighth generation (8) a theoretical training is being carried out under the sub module "Code of Criminal Procedure-Alternative Procedure" with Mr. Kujtim Munishi, Chief Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecutor in Prishtina.
During this training the following topics are being addressed: The parties and the process of functioning of mediation in criminal cases, the importance of mediation, the principles of restorative justice, and the positive effects of mediation in the Republic of Kosovo.
The training methodology applied consist of practical cases as well as interactive discussion. The training is being carried out in person at the Academy of Justice by implementing all preventive measures against the COVID-19 virus.
Beneficiaries of the training are 24 newly appointed judges, two of whom are from the Serb community.
