On 07 October 2014, KJI within the Continuous Training Program conducted a training on civil field on: “Adoption”.
This training aimed to advance the knowledge of participants on proper interpretation of the provisions dealing with the role and authority of guardianship authority in adoption proceedings and apply international standards and legislation on adoption.
During this training were addressed issues related to adoption as a special form of child protection, local judicial proceedings, and international elements, cooperation of the court with guardianship authority, adoption proceedings before the court and court decision for adoption.
Part of the training was dedicated to working groups elaborating some of the practical cases, where participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and exchange experiences in order to create best practices in the protection of children without parental care.
Beneficiaries of this training were judges of basic level from all regions.
