Legal remedies and special procedures

On September 26, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with GIZ, within the Continuous Training Program, are carrying out the training from the Basic Module for professional associates and legal officers in the criminal field on the topic "Legal remedies and special procedures".

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Skender Ҫoçaj judge at the Appeals Court and Mr. Atdhe Dema, prosecutor in the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo.

Purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge regarding the Criminal Procedure, which includes perpetrators with mental disorders, the Order for psychiatric examination, Detention, Mandatory Treatment Measures, court decisions and Legal Remedies.

The applied methodology is of a combined character, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions. Beneficiaries of this training are Professional associates and legal officers from the Courts and Prosecutor's Offices, officers from the Free Legal Aid Agency and officers from NGOs.
