Module: International Legal Cooperation in Criminal Matters; Second session: The Importance of International Legal Cooperation

On September 18, 2024, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is conducting the theoretical training from the module "International Legal Cooperation in criminal field" which is being delivered by the trainer Mr. Gazmend Çitaku, Director of the for International Legal Cooperation Department in the MoJ.

This session is addressing the following: Extradition-concept and general consideration, extradition procedure overview and comparative aspects, the main stages of the extradition procedure, the legal basis for extradition and extradition in absentia and the search for the defendant's address.

The training methodology is interactive discussions method and case-based approach.

Beneficiaries of the training are the newly appointed judges, including one member from the Bosnian community, generation XII 2024/2025.
