Module: EU Law; Third session: Cooperation between National Courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Reference for a preliminary ruling

On September 23, 2024, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is conducting theoretical training, from the "EU Law" module, in support of the trainer Mrs. Donikë Qerimi, Professor at the University of Pristina.

This session is covering the following: the purpose of the procedure for the preliminary decision, the object of the procedure for the preliminary action and the scope, the national courts and tribunals in this procedure, the importance and assessment of the judge to make a request for a preliminary decision and the accelerated and urgent procedure.

The training methodology is interactive discussions method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are newly appointed judges, including one member of the Bosnian community, generation XII, 2024/2025.
