Module: Professional ethics and disciplinary responsibility; Second session - Principles of the Code of Professional Ethics for Judges

On September 10, 2024, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is conducting the second session from the module on "Professional ethics and disciplinary responsibility", held by the trainer Mr. Lumni Sallauka, judge at the Appeals Court.

This session covered the basic principles of the Code of Professional Ethics for judges, the Advisory Committee for Judicial Ethics, the working principles of the Advisory Committee for Judicial Ethics, the selection of members of the Advisory Committee for Judicial Ethics, the Chairman of the Committee and the powers and Requests for giving opinions.

The training methodology is being developed through an interactive and case-based method.

Beneficiaries of the training are 32 newly appointed judges, one from the Bosnian community and one from the Serbian community, 2024/2025.
