Module: ECHR; Second session: European Court of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights

On September 16, 2024, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is conducting theoretical training, from the "ECHR" module, delivered by the trainer Mr. Hajredin Kuqi, Professor at the University of Pristina.

This session is elaborating on the following: the objectives of the ECHR and the impact of the ECtHR jurisprudence on protection of human rights in the legal system of Kosovo.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and case-based method.

Beneficiaries of the training are the newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community and one from the Bosnian community, generation XII 2024/2025
