Module: ECHR; Fourth session: Procedural guarantees in cases of deprivation

On September 18, 2024, the Academy of Justice, within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training from the "ECHR" module, held by the trainer Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judge at the Court of Appeal.

This session is addressing the following: Procedural guarantees in cases of deprivation of liberty, arrest of a suspect for committing a criminal offense, Article 5 of the ECHR and its application in Kosovo, and cases of violation of Article 5 of the ECHR in Kosovo.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and case-based method.

Beneficiaries of the training are 30 newly appointed judges including one member from the Bosnian community, generation 2024-2025.
