Module: ECHR; Fifth session: Procedural safeguards in cases of deprivation of liberty

On September 19, 2024, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Program, for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training from the "ECHR" module, delivered by the trainer Mr. Skender Çoçaj, Judge at the Appeals Court. This session is covering the following aspects: the arrest of a suspect for committing a criminal offense, Article 5 of the ECHR and its application in Kosovo and cases of violation of Article 5 of the ECHR in Kosovo - "Executive Orders". The training methodology is interactive discussions method and practical cases. Beneficiaries of the training are 30 newly appointed judges, including one members from the Bosnian community, generation XII, 2024-2025.
