The practice of the European Court of Human Rights under Article 5 and Article 6 of the ECHR

On November 12, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the project Supporting the Constitutional Court in the implementation and promotion of the European Court for Human Rights standards, within the Continuous Training Program, are conducting the training "Practice of European Court of Human Rights according to Article 5 and Article 6 of the ECHR".

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mrs. Valdete Daka, judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo and Mr. Hajredin Kuqi, professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Pristina.

The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of participants in the implementation of Article 5 of the ECHR and its relationship with the judicial practice of Kosovo.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting cases from judicial practice.

Beneficiaries of this training are Judges from the Appeals Court, Judges and Prosecutors from the Basic instance as well as investigators from the Kosovo Police Inspectorate.
