Evidence in criminal proceedings

April 12-13, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the training on the topic "Evidence in criminal procedure".

Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. Kujtim Munishi, Chief Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, and Mr. Ramadan Gashi – Permanent judicial trainer at the Academy of Justice.

The purpose of this training is to extend the knowledge of judges and prosecutors about the conditions of committing a criminal offense, and the culpability of the defendant can only be determined through evidence. Before the criminal sanction is imposed to perpetrators of the criminal offense, the procedural bodies must ensure the full verification of the relevant legal facts on which the implementation of the substantive criminal law depends.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges and prosecutors from the Basic level.
