The Academy of Justice of Kosovo and the Basel Institute on Governance - International Center for Asset Recovery, as an implementing partner of the UNDP Office in Kosovo, are pleased to offer training opportunities for criminal judges and prosecutors on the topic: Financial Investigations and Asset Recovery, to be held from 19 to 23 September 2022.
The main goal of this training program is to intensify and build investigative capacities in Kosovo to successfully investigate and prosecute corruption and money laundering cases, as well as asset recovery. Focusing on gaining a thorough knowledge of the elements of corruption and money laundering offences in Kosovo legislation, and improving understanding of the legal and practical processes and procedures for recovering assets abroad, investigators and prosecutors will develop the necessary skills.
