Antigypsyism

On December 3, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with Terr des hommes in Kosovo, the project “Social Justice for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians in Kosovo”, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, is conducting a training on the topic of “Antigypsyism”.

The trainer engaged in this training is: Mr. Bedri Bahtiri, professor at the University of Pristina.

The purpose of this training is to extend the participants knowledge regarding the meaning of antigypsyism, the recognition of the origin of antigypsyism towards the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities, which includes a complex network of historical prejudices.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries are: Judges, Prosecutors, officials from the Kosovo Judicial Council and students from the Kosovo Public University.
