Contested procedure

On September 10, 2024, the Academy of Justice, in cooperation with EULEX, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, conducted the training from the Basic Module for professional associates and legal officers in the civil field on the topic "Contested Procedure".

Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. Rrustem Thaçi and Mr. Zenel Leku, judges at the Supreme Court of Kosovo. The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding the lawsuit, the types of the lawsuit, how to change the lawsuit, the preliminary examination of the lawsuit, competences, parties and representation, procedural presumptions related to the object of the dispute, the verdict and the types of verdict.

The applied methodology was of a combined character, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions. Beneficiaries of this training are: Professional associates and legal officers from the courts of Kosovo - civil division.
