Within the framework of its mandate, the Academy of Justice (hereafter AJ), as legal successor of the Kosovo Judicial Institute, since 2008 has started to imple-ment the Initial Training Program (ITP), organizing training for professionals en-tering the judicial and prosecutorial system in the capacity of judge and prosecu-tor, right after successfully the recruitment process. ITP has been organized for five generations and so far 169 candidates for judges and prosecutors have gradu-ated.
