Description :

Understanding criminal offenses against the economy with particular emphasis on fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, counterfeiting of currency, infringement of copyright and patent rights, smuggling of goods, evasion of payment of mandatory customs duties or excise duties;
Discovering indicators of criminal offenses against the economy;
Using modern methods of investigating and combating these criminal offenses;
Exchanging information with other law enforcement agencies.

Objectives :

Advance knowledge about economic crimes (with particular emphasis on fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, counterfeiting, copyright and patent infringement, smuggling of goods, evasion of payment of mandatory customs duties or excise duties);
Identify the indicators of these criminal offenses;
Correctly apply the legal provisions referring to economic crimes;
Understand the method of investigating and preventing these criminal offenses.
