Legal Remedies and Special Procedures

On February 21, 2025, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with GIZ, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the Basic Module training for professional associates and legal officers in the criminal field on the topic Legal Remedies and Special Procedures.

Trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Skender Çoçaj, judge at the Court of Appeals, and Mr. Valdet Gashi, prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo.

Purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of participants regarding the Criminal Procedure, which includes perpetrators with mental disorders, the Order for psychiatric examination, Detention, Compulsory treatment measures, judicial decisions and Legal Remedies.

The methodology applied was of a combined nature, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Professional Associates, Legal Officers from Courts and Prosecution Offices, as well as Free Legal Aid Officer.
