Module: EU law; Fifth session: Judicial cooperation in civil and commercial matters in the European Union
On September 25, 2024, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is conducting theoretical training, from the "EU Law" module, held by the trainer Mrs. Donikë Qerimi, Professor at the University of Pristina.
In the framework of this session, the following are being addressed: free circulation of court decisions in civil and commercial matters, applicable (competent) law in civil and commercial matters, free circulation of court decisions in family matters, procedural aspects of judicial cooperation in civil matters, out-of-court solutions: alternative methods for settling civil and commercial disputes in the European Union, the ibis regulation (Jurisdiction of courts) and European Procedures in civil and commercial matters.
The training methodology is interactive discussions method and practical cases.
Beneficiaries of the training are newly appointed judges, including one member of the Bosnian community, generation XII 2024/2025.
