Module: ECHR, first session: The role and importance of the Council of Europe

On September 13, 2024, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed judges of the twelfth generation, is conducting theoretical training, from the "ECHR" module, in support of the trainer Mr. Hajredin Kuqi, Professor at the University of Pristina.

This session, the following are being addressed: The Council of Europe, the European Convention on Human Rights (1950) and the Additional Protocols, the content of the Convention, the Additional Protocols of the Convention and the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and its impact in the legal system of Kosovo.

The training methodology is being developed through the interactive method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are: The newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community and one from the Bosnian community, generation XII 2024/2025.
