Sub-module: Witnesses and injured parties in criminal proceeding; Fourth session: the injured party

January 16 2023, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed prosecutors – generation nine, is conducting a theoretical training from the sub-module on “Witnesses and injured parties in criminal proceeding”, with trainer Mr. Besim Kelmendi, acting Chief State Prosecutor.

The second session is covering the following topics: understanding the injured party, access of the injured party and the victim representative in the case files, legal claims, authorized persons to file claims, filing the legal claims, withdrawal and waiver from the proposal to realize a claim, review of the proposal for realizing the claim, and measures for provisional insurance of the claim directed against third persons.

Training methodology is interactive and based on practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are 6 newly appointed prosecutors 2022/ 2023.
