Sub-module: Juvenile Justice Code; Second session: General provisions characterizing the criminal procedure against minors

On February 26, 2024, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training under the module "Juvenile Justice Code", held by the trainer Mr. Burim Qerkini, prosecutor at the Special Prosecutor's Office.

This session is addressing the following: the urgency of the procedure and the short deadlines, not judging in the absence of the minor, the principle of confidentiality and opportunity, the preparatory procedure for minors, the different stages of the procedure for minors and the judicial bodies for minors. The training methodology is interactive discussions method and practical cases. Beneficiaries of the training are 22 newly appointed prosecutors 2023/2024.
