Sub-module – Alternative procedures; Second session: Conditions when attendance is not mandatory (Article 231)

On February 21, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed prosecutors of the ninth generation, is conducting theoretical training under the "Alternative Procedures" module with trainer Mr. Kujtim Munishi, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina.

This training session is addressing the following topics: the state prosecutor is not obliged to initiate criminal prosecution or may waive prosecution, to break down the notion when prosecution is not mandatory and recognizing the advantages and shortcomings of this institute.

The training methodology is interactive discussions method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 5 newly appointed prosecutors 2022/23.
